Previously based in the Northern Territory Maggie was senior producer with Burrundi Pictures where she ran the highly successful Yirrkala Workshop Program facilitating community input into the script development of the feature Yolngu Boy which she also cast.  Maggie’s first feature, Van Dieman’s Land, distributed by Madman Entertainment, 2009, had its International Premiere at the Edinburgh IFF 2009, received a Special Mention at the Sitges IFF 2009 and won ‘Best Non-European Feature’ at Lund International Fantastic FF 2009.  Alongside Robert Connolly, Maggie produced The Turning, distributed by Madman Entertainment and CinemaPlus. With Robert Connolly and Liz Kearney, Maggie produced the children's feature film Paper Planes which premiered at the Melbourne IFF 2014, Toronto IFF 2014, Busan IFF 2014 and the 2015 Berlinale where it opened the Generation Kplus section.  Paper Planes  won the inaugural CinefestOz Film Prize 2014.
