Tony and Paul met in 1974 when Tony acted in Paul's first feature Iluminations. They have collaborated numerous times initially establishing Paul's production entity Illumination Films, subsequently on Inside Looking Out, Kostas, Lonely Hearts, Man Of Flowers, My First Wife, Cactus, Vincent: The Life & Death of Vincent Van Gogh, Nijinsky and Salvation. Other filmic adventures include Werner Herzog’s Australian feature Where The Green Ants Dream and the Australian Children's Television Foundations The Gift and The Secret Life of Trees.
