DELIA SILVAN

Costume Designer

Delia Silvan is an award winning Australian dancer & performer who has appeared in film, theatre, television and dance productions. She works as a dancer, actress, movement consultant, rehearsal and staging director.  Delia has received critical acclaim for her performances with leading Australian contemporary dance companies ADT (Australian Dance Theatre), Chunky Move, Danceworks, Lucy Guerin Inc, and Leigh Warren & Dancers - of which she was a founding member.

 

Delia played Romola, Pas De Trois & Lead Nymph L'apres-midi d'un faune in Paul Cox's 2001 feature film The Diaries of Vaslav Nijinsky. She was Ophelia in his 2004 film Human Touch. In 2014 Delia was selected to undertake the role of Costume Designer in Force Of Destiny.

 

Delia continues to work as Movement Advisor, Staging Director and guest lectures in contemporary dance in dance colleges around Australia
